The interaction of colours, the play of light, the feel, and the smell of everyday objects inspire me. This has led me to play with dyeing, blending, spinning and weaving a variety of fibres.

Interlacing twigs into a basket, knotting hay band into a container, the feel and scent of fibres as I spin, weaving yarns into fabrics, meditatively allowing my mood to influence the colours and
texture or forming structured repetitions producing pattern give me pleasure.

Colour, light, texture and form of objects has also recently inspired me to experiment with clay and glazes.
