The Great Alpine Gallery features a range of exhibitions throughout the year.

You may find a themed exhibition featuring work by local artists and community members, or an exhibition from a particular artist. The Gallery also supports travelling exhibitions and region-wide events.

Artists

Our artists are the lifeblood of the Great Alpine Gallery. The Gallery features the work of multiple artists working across a huge range of media. Many of our artists are also the volunteers you'll find working in the gallery.

Poets Walk

Swifts Creek resident John Butler was a sculptor and poet who wrote “A River’s Mark” after the 2008 floods. He had a vision of creating the Poet’s Walk consisting of a walking track with six rock cairns with each cairn displaying a verse of his poem.
