Tracey Johnson

Variety of media

Tracey is a full time artist working in a wide range of media, including public art, light-based interactive work, installations, painting, printmaking and digital imaging. Tracey has now made her long-term home at Tambo Crossing in the foothills of the Victorian Alps in East Gippsland, about 40 km south of Swifts Creek.

Presence

Shelter Tracey has recently completed public art projects in Mackay and Townsville in Queensland, and the nearby town of Bairnsdale in Victoria. Her public projects have included a lightweight suspended metal sculpture, glass encapsulating digital imagery, corten steel and etched stainless steel sculptural works.

Tracey enjoys working in collaboration with other artists and did so with many of these artworks. She has a Master of Visual Arts from Monash University.
