Memberships and donations

Memberships Taking out a membership is a great way to support the Great Alpine Gallery and our artists. Annual membership is only $15. You can join at any time, with renewals due in October of each year.

The Gallery is a non-profit organisation. We receive no regular government funding, and all work is done by volunteers. All membership money therefore goes straight to funding the Gallery's ongoing costs to actually keep our doors open.

If you are unable to afford a membership but appreciate the value of the Gallery, then volunteering is another great way to help out.

What you get

Membership gets you the following benefits:

  • attend Gallery events, exhibitions, opening nights, and workshops (separate charges may apply)
  • receive newsletters and meeting minutes direct to your inbox to keep you up to date with all that's happening
  • the opportunity to connect with like-minded people in the community
  • the option to have your own account to access the members only area of this website
  • the option to attend Gallery meetings and have a say in its operations
  • the option to take a part in the running of the Gallery
  • the good feeling that you're supporting a small town arts community and gallery
  • if you're an artist you also get the opportunity to:
    • display and sell your work at the Gallery
    • be listed as an artist on this website
    • have your own personal page/s on this website to publicise your artwork (you actually get to create your own pages with our easy to use wiki, so you can add as much or as little as you want, and change it whenever you want)

How to join or renew

For new members, please download and fill out your details on the membership form below, attach your payment, and return them to us in person at the Gallery, via post, or via email. If you don't wish to exhibit work in the Gallery, just fill out the first page; if you do, please complete pages 2 and 3 as well.

To save the form to your computer right-click the text link and choose Save Link As….

For existing members it is not necessary to complete a new membership form each year, you can renew your membership simply by making a payment in any of the following ways:

  • pay directly at the Gallery
  • make a direct electronic deposit to the NAB Great Alpine Gallery Inc account, BSB: 083 868, Account No: 7946 21465
  • mail us your cheque or money order made out to Great Alpine Gallery Inc.
  • phone us on 0429 148 033 or 0427 594 472 to arrange payment
  • email us with details of your payment or for further options

Become a Volunteer

Donations and bequests

If you would like to make a donation to the Gallery, or remember us through a bequest in your Will, these kindnesses are gratefully accepted.

Please contact us with further details or to make arrangements, or send your donation via one of the methods outlined above.

Unfortunately donations to the Great Alpine Gallery are not tax deductible.
